I stood in the doorway and whispered your name.
I can see now, to you it's a game.
You hurt me so bad, you caused so much pain.
And now as I cry, it begins to rain.
Stood on this hilltop, under our tree,
I remember the first time, you laid eyes on me.
I'm wondering now, why couldn't I see,
Whilst I'm with you, I'll never be free.
When I was out there, sinking in sand,
I called for your help, you wouldn't give your hand.
I see for good people, there is great demand.
You never listened, you just didn't understand.
You told me you loved me. That was a lie.
